PENTECOSTAL CHURCH OF FAITH IN GOD was founded in 1965. The Church was in a house owned by Bishop W.M Grant, where a small group was headed by Bishop Grant and Pastor Dean Wells Sr. During this time it was decided by the group President that Bishop Grant would be the overseer of the organization and Bishop Dean M. Wells Sr the Pastor and Assistant Overseer.

Worship services were held in Bishop Grant's Property, located Palm Beach Street and also at Bishop Wells Residence, Minnie Street. After which they bought a piece of property, in Church Hill Sub-division and erected a tent for worship. During this time Bishop Grant discontinued his fellowship with the organization and rejoined the Church of God in Christ. Bishop Dean M. Wells then began to function as Bishop and General overseer of Pentecostal Church Of faith in God 

Bishop Wells received a letter from the government stating that a highway was to be constructed, taking up part of the property. He requested and received another piece of property from the Government. The church then moved to Montell Heights, Bell Road off Ethel Street, West of C.H. Reeves Junior High School, which we are presently on.

Bishop Wells then started on a bigger and more presentable building with two wings. This work was not all easy but the with the help of The Almighty God, His Son Jesus Christ, The Holy Spirit, his two Sons and three son-in-laws they were able to complete the work. The Sanctuary was dedicated for service to God on September 23rd, 1984. 

The Structure is the present worshipping sanctuary of Pentecostal Church of Faith In God.
